CPR + First Aid Training
Private, in-home and small group training sessions
This service will be provided in your home at your convenience. I am a Registered Nurse and an American Heart Association (AHA) certified CPR & First Aid instructor. I am certified to teach infant, child and adult CPR. I teach general training courses as well as Heartsaver + First Aid and BLS courses for both laypeople and healthcare professionals.
As parents, we hope that we never need to perform CPR on our child; however, it is important to be prepared should an emergency situation occur. Being trained in CPR will provide you with the skills needed before professional emergency medical services arrive. I format my sessions by incorporating interactive lessons, simulation videos and hands-on practice with manikins. All of my manikins are equipped with feedback devices to help you learn the proper depth and rate of chest compressions. All of my CPR classes cover CPR, airway obstruction (choking) and AED (defibrillator) training.
I am also certified to issue and renew professional BLS and Heartsaver + First Aid certifications. If you own a business or are part of an organization (i.e. school, scout troop, medical office) that would like to learn general CPR training or earn a certification, I provide these services as well.
