I am an American Heart Association (AHA) certified CPR & First Aid instructor. I also have experience working in the ICU as a RN and I have performed CPR during real-life cardiac arrest emergencies many times. I am certified to teach infant, child and adult CPR and first aid. I offer general, uncertified training sessions as well as Heartsaver + First Aid (laypeople) and BLS (healthcare professionals) group certification courses. I am also certified to renew Heartsaver and BLS certifications within 2 years of initial certification or prior recertification.

Being trained in CPR will provide you with the skills needed in the rare event that cardiac arrest occurs no matter what the cause may be (airway obstruction, drowning, medical conditions, etc.). I format my sessions by incorporating interactive lessons, simulation videos and hands-on practice with manikins. All of my manikins are equipped with feedback devices to help you learn the proper depth and rate of chest compressions.

I have been teaching private courses for almost five years and I have gained a lot of knowledge about what parents want to know about infant and child safety through the questions clients have asked. As a result of this experience, I have incorporated general infant and child safety tips into all of my CPR sessions.
